MoDOT is gearing up for a full corridor overhaul on Missouri Route 1 (NE Antioch Road) from Route 152 south to NE 42nd Street, with work advertised May 2025 and wrapping up in stages through 2028. Highlights include pavement rebuilding from NE 64th–72nd Streets, full-depth resurfacing between Route 152 and NE 72nd, new curb and gutter, slope stabilization under I-35, and an ADA-compliant pedestrian underpass near NE 43rd.
