Northland Dog of the Week

Meet Coco Bean, our adorable "bunny dog" with ears that remind us of a bunny when she bounces around. This 3-month-old brindle American Bulldog weighs 13 lbs. and is expected to reach 50-60 lbs. as an adult. Coco is smart, almost house-trained, and knows how to sit and shake. She's playful, loves all her toys, and gets along well with other dogs, humans, and even a feline foster sibling. Despite slight vision loss, she navigates her surroundings well. Coco Bean will be spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations at adoption. Her adoption fee is $275 and she is available through Pawsitive Tails.

Teachers & Nurses Appreciation Week

Next week is Nurses and Teachers appreciation week. We have compiled a list of Northland spots you could grab a sweet treat or gift from to celebrate them.

💐Jean’s Flower’s and Gifts - Smithville. Besides having an awesome Instagram account where you get to see all the behind-the-scenes footage of what it takes to run the cutest flower shop, they also have beautiful arrangements and gifts.

💐Price Chopper Floral - One of my personal favorite places to get flowers. Very reasonably priced and great quality beautiful flowers that last. They have SO MANY ready to go arrangements.

Treats

🍫Wild Flour Baking Co. This is the newest bakery shop in Parkville and their cinnamon rolls are DeVine. Grab one or a gift card share.

🍫McClains Bakery - Kansas City famous - treats from McClains will not disappoint and we now have one here in the Northland, in North Kansas City.

🍫Nellie’s Sweet Shoppe - Smithville - fudge, chocolate, candy, and ice cream. What more could someone ask for?
