Tips To Help Declutter In The New Year - With Happy Habitat

As we welcome the New Year, it’s the perfect time to embrace a fresh start with some effective organizing tips.

1. Set up a donation box and keep your trash can handy; this simple strategy allows for quick and efficient decluttering.

2. As you store away your Christmas decorations, take a moment to evaluate what you truly want to keep—if that wreath no longer brings you joy, let it go!

3. Designate specific homes for each of your new gifts to ensure your space remains functional and organized. This way, you’ll know exactly where to find that new kitchen dish when you need it.

If you’re looking for more personalized assistance, Happy Habitat is here to help you create a more organized space!

New Year’s resolution fitness options 🏃‍♀️

Got a New Years fitness resolution? Start 2025 storng with these fun ways to get fit.

💪 Row House Parkville - Rowing activates 86% of the muscles in your body at low impact. I have personally gone to classes here, and when I started I thought it was going be boring just rowing for 30 min. I was wrong - they offer classes that involve rowing and hopping off the rower to do other activities during the class PLUS a masterful mix of music to keep you motivated. Try a class for FREE HERE

💪 Pure Barre - Pure Barre focuses on low-impact, small movements that target strength, cardio, and flexibility for people of all levels. The amount of people who have told how amazing they feel after doing a Barre workout is ………alot! Grab a free class and checkout the Barre Studio up by Zona Rosa

💪 YMCA/ Gladstone Community Center - Don’t let these larger facilities pass you by. You can really get all your workout goals accomplished by joining. Both offer child care which is HUGE for moms, and also offer a huge amount of classes if thats your jam. They also come with several other amenities like pools, saunas, steam rooms, tracks for walking free weights and all the machines.

Weather Watch

🚨Unless you have been under a rock, you have heard about the Polar Vortex that is headed towards KC this weekend. After looking into several meteorologists blogs in the KC area, one thing is certain it will bring very cold temperatures. The worst of it looks to be coming in on Sunday. So this section is your friendly reminder to make sure you are ready to stay home a couple days if needed and get your home ready. Grab a back of snow/ice melt from your local hardware store as your out today!
