My Play Cafe has been one our favorite businesses to work with since starting 816 Local. They were the first to take a chance on us and we will be forever grateful. My Play Cafe is an indoor play area for kids 6 and under and it also has a coffee shop inside. Its the perfect spot to sip a coffee with your mom bestie and let your littles run around. Golf Ranch Update
We've been eagerly keeping tabs on the new Golf Ranch as it gears up for its grand opening. This week, I got an exclusive sneak peek at their progress, and let me tell you, my excitement has skyrocketed! The team shared that their tee line, equipped with cutting-edge ball tracking technology, is all set. It features a variety of games and a plethora of virtual courses to enjoy. They're just waiting for the city's final approval, and then it'll be open for everyone to enjoy. I got a firsthand look at the Top Tracer technology, and it was absolutely mind-blowing. Plus, there are fun games for the kids too! Golf Ranch is optimistic that the tee line will be ready for public use in about two weeks. For the latest updates, make sure to follow 816 Local on Instagram. Golf Ranch will also offer a spot to enjoy some tasty finger foods and drinks. They're currently working on getting the water lines installed, aiming to have everything ready before summer hits. Its Friday!! Time to blow off some steam. We have polled people in the Northland for a list of some of the best Happy Hour Spots.
Barrio - There are WAY to many options for their happy hour to list out here, but you can find apps under $9 and drinks $6 and under during their happy hour which starts at 1:30 and goes until 6. Click this link here to go check out their full happy hour menu
Chicken N Pickle - BAR TOP GUESTS can enjoy 1/2 off shareables: Avocado Hummus, Fried Pickles, Quesadilla, Chorizo Queso, Tres Tostadas, Rib Appetizer | $9.99. For Drinks, you can get $2 off wine, beer, and cocktails OR a $6 Margarita. You can catch this happy hour from 3-6 on Fridays.
Summit Grill - You can get dips, wings, tacos or more for under $9 and Drinks between $6 and $4 from 3-6 DAILY!!
Third Street Social - Wings, burnt ends, and Tacos for under 10 and several drink options ranging in price from $4-$8. You can check out their full
Em Chamas - Everyday from 4:30-7 you can get ½ price small plates and also ½ off wines by the glass, draft beer and well drinks along with a $6 caipirinha.
Trezo Mare - apps for under $8 is a steal at Trezo. You can also get drink from $4-$7. Trezo was voted best Happy Hour along with one of the best patios.
54th Street - Variety of munchies all under $8. Drafts between $3-$5 and several other drink specials as well.
