In Collaboration with - Stretch Zone

One thing and one thing only saved my whole week. If you didnโ€™t know I am approaching the big 4-0 this year, yet I still feel the need to get out and do things I used to do when I was much younger. My friend twisted my arm and got me out to play some slow-pitch softball. No big deal, I played in college. Well, I was partially right it was โ€œNo big dealโ€ but that was ONLY because of Stretch Zone. I had been going for 2 weeks prior to starting my first game. That is the only reason why I didnโ€™t wake up Monday morning not being able to roll out of bed. Stretching out all those muscles helped out so much. While the rest of the team was hurting bad the next day, I was feeling great. If you donโ€™t believe me - try it for yourself.

Foodie Friday

Hayes Hamburgers is nostalgic for me and lots of people in KC. Many years ago, after high school softball practice, my friends and I would pile into a booth at Hayes Hamburger & Chili, still in our dusty cleats, sharing laughs over sliders and fries. Established in 1955, this no-frills diner at 2502 NE Vivion Rd has been serving up Kansas City's favorite burgers and chili for nearly 70 years. Operating as a cash-only establishment, Hayes maintains its old-school charm, offering affordable comfort food like their famous sliders, hearty chili, and all-day breakfast. For a taste of Kansas City history, Hayes Hamburger & Chili remains a beloved destination.
