Listen - there might be a better burger in town…….but I doubt it. KC Burger Joint in Riverside is our Foodie Friday spotlight. 816 Local has loved KC burger joint since in opened up in Riverside for SEVERAL reasons. Here are a few

  1. They have the juiciest freshest hand made burgers

  2. Their pricing is HARD TO BEAT - better burgers for less than McDonalds

  3. The kids meals are seriously big and excellent quality

  4. Ice Cream with every kids meal

  5. Free video games for the kids

  6. Impeccable service and friendliness

Kids Corner

Its cold and snowy and kids are getting bored faster and faster. We have a list of winter places to let your kids run wild and get out of their screens.

Jaegers Paintball - This one is for the slightly older kids, but no equipment is required. You can rent everything there. Jaegers is in the caves between Worlds of Fun and Ameristar Casino. They will let the kids play til they run out of paintballs. The boys played for almost 3 hours and were so sweaty and tired at the end. Win win for everyone!!

River Roll/Winnwood Skate Rink/Rolladium - Best for ages 4 and up. We took a 4 year old to test it out. He got a walker to help him skate and had a BLAST! The kids burnt so much energy and got to listen to some sweet tunes in the process. This was by far one of the cheapest indoor activities we found.

Tee-Shotz - I know what your thinking its still outside, BUT they have heaters and good food and some nice adult beverages. The kids enjoyed crushing the ball and trying something new.
